October 26, 2017 – London, UK— Prager Metis LLP, a leading accounting and advisory firm with offices in Europe, North America, and Asia, and a member of GGI International with members in 123 countries, is very proud to celebrate 50 years with a London presence.
Prager Metis predecessor firm Prager and Fenton LLP first opened its doors in New York in 1920. During the mid-1960’s they opened their first London office. Prager Metis is currently located in the trendy Southwark section of London. “We are very proud to have worked with clients in the London community for 50 years,” said Mark Boomla, Managing Partner of the London office. “Our continued commitment to serving our UK clients has only deepened in the last fifty years and will continue to grow.”
Prager and Fenton had operated for almost 50 years, primarily in the music, media and entertainment industries in New York City. Then, in the mid-sixties, the British invasion in the music industry created an optimum time to expand into London to further serve their clients.
In 2015, Prager Metis combined with Peter Bryan & Co. to greatly expand their expertise in estate and inheritance tax capabilities along with a high-level tax advisory services. “We’ve experienced consistent growth over the past fifty years, and our entire Prager Metis team is to thank,” Chairman of the Board, David Neste said. “We’re committed to continuing to grow and strengthen our London team and presence.”
Prager Metis celebrated their milestone with a celebration for clients, friends and the Prager Metis team at the Home House in London. Over 100 people attended the event.
