Prager Metis CPAs, an independent, full-service public accounting and consulting firm with offices in the U.S. and London, is happy to share our continuing efforts to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.
On the summer solstice, otherwise known as the longest day of the year, the Alzheimer’s Association encouraged supporters to select any activity to help end Alzheimer’s. As part of our continued partnership with the Association, Prager Metis participated in all of our offices worldwide.
On the official Longest Day, June 21st, Prager Metis held an AC\DC Karaoke Party starting in London and ending in Los Angeles to have the “longest” Longest Day. The following Saturday, June 25th, we held “Spin For A Cure” at the Peloton Cycle Studio located at 140 West 23rd St in New York City. And finally, on June 29th we hosted a Chess Exhibition with International Grandmaster Gennady Sagalchik. Gennady Sagalchik who played against eleven opponents at once!
CEO, Glenn Friedman, stated “In the last year our support and partnership with the Association has been incredible. It has brought our team members together and allowed us to work together on a cause that affects so many. The Longest Day events were a success not only for fundraising and awareness but for team building.”
Prager Metis raised over $15,000 and still counting for the Longest Day. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s takes place this fall, and Prager Metis will be participating.
