Gabe Wolosky, a Partner with Prager Metis, will be a featured speaker at the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County on May 6, 2015. The title of the program is “Planning for Same Sex Couples”.

This presentation will discuss the implications of the Supreme Court’s ruling in United States v. Windsor as it applies to same-sex couples regarding income tax planning, estate planning, and planning for Social Security, retirement and health benefits.  There will also be an overview of New York’s Marriage Equality Act and how it impacts same-sex couples regarding intestacy laws, estate planning, right of election, New York income tax, property ownership and planning for incapacity.
