Prager Metis Partner, Austin Jacobs will be presenting on a panel at the Amsterdam Dance Event on October 20th, 2017. His panel is entitled “Empires of Their Own – Artists as Business Owners.” Partner Chris Hull will as co-moderator for this panel
The panel will present A discussion of the many legal and financial issues that artist-owned companies must consider to make sure they maximize and keep the profits from their hard work and creations. The panel will cover a diverse range of the realities of being a business such as transactional law, taxation, performing and royalty concerns, organization and business plans, and features an artist who runs their own empire.
The conference will be held Nov. October 18-22, 2017, at the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam, Netherlands
