Stephanie A. Gigliotti

Professional Experience

Stephanie is a Partner in the Audit Department of Prager Metis, a member of Prager Metis International Group. She specializes in audits of employee benefit plans and has extensive experience working with defined benefit, and defined contribution 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Stephanie is the firm industry leader of the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Group. She also specializes in audits of companies spanning the service, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.

Stephanie has extensive experience in all phases of the audit process, including the planning and design of the audit approach, supervision and review, preparation of management recommendations, and financial reporting. Stephanie’s other areas of concentration include compilation and review engagements and compliance-related engagements for clients.

Stephanie’s firm-wide responsibilities also include the coordination and execution of staff training within the audit department as well as assisting in the implementation of new auditing and accounting standards.

Stephanie is committed to providing her clients with the highest level of service. She stays on top of industry trends and the latest regulations through her extensive involvement with the NYSSCPA and the AICPA. Stephanie is a current member and past Chair of the Employee Benefit Plan Committee for the NYSSCPA. She is a member of the AICPA Employee Benefits Audit Quality Center. She is also a Director as Chapter Representative on the Board of Directors of the NYSSCPA.

Prior to joining Prager Metis, Stephanie was a partner at D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP who combined with Prager Metis in January 2020.
