Prager Metis CPAs, an independent, full-service public accounting and consulting firm with offices in the U.S. and London, has relocated their Westchester office from Armonk to White Plains, NY. The move to a new and larger location at 333 Westchester Avenue took place on December 12, 2013.
“We moved from Armonk to White Plains for a few reasons,” says Prager Metis COO Michael Specht, CPA. “First, we needed more space to accommodate our growing staff. This allows up enough space to expand our office to over 20 people. In addition, White Plains is more centrally-located in Westchester County than is Armonk. We’re five minutes outside downtown White Plains, so it’s easier to get to here by train or car, with most major highways nearby.”
In keeping with the recently-launched Prager Metis branding initiative, furnishings echo the gray and orange color scheme of the new Prager Metis logo. “This office really represents the new corporate standards of what Prager Metis offices will look like going forward,” Specht states. “We want as uniform a look as possible for all our new or renovated offices worldwide.”
The move has been in the works since April, with actual construction beginning in July.“The Prager Metis presence in Westchester has expanded significantly in the last few years,” says CEO Glenn Friedman, “and we simply had to find larger office space to accommodate the increase in both our staff and client base. The fact that we have outgrown our current location is a clear indication of both our continued growth and our commitment to the Westchester business community. We provide a full range of accounting, tax and advisory services to several Westchester companies and look forward to helping many more.”
