Prager Metis CPAs, a top 100 public accounting and consulting firm with offices in the U.S. and London, announces the combines with Mayer CPAs, LLP a top accounting and business advisory firm on Long Island. The combined firms will offer a wider breadth of services to individual and corporate clients. The combination is effective immediately.
The four partners of Mayer CPAs, Robert Mayer, Stuart Mayer, Mark Ackerman, and Mary Mooney will join Prager Metis as partners. Robert Mayer, Managing Partner of Mayer CPAs, will join Prager Metis as Partner in Charge of the Long Island Office, which will remain at Mayer CPAs present address in Woodbury. Stuart Mayer will be Partner in Charge of the fashion and digital media practices of the combined firm. Mark Ackerman will join the Estates and Trust Committee, and Mary Mooney will assist with training the staff and overseeing workflow. Barry Pulchin and Olga Averin, forensic accounting and business valuation experts, Partners of Prager Metis and their Litigation Services team, will be relocating to the larger office.
