Professional Experience

Nicole Bononi-Wilson is a Tax Controversy Manager at Prager Metis. Ms. Bononi-Wilson concentrates her practice on federal, state, and local tax controversy matters, including in connection with collections, examinations, administrative appeals and trial. She has represented numerous individuals in US Tax Court as well as individuals before the Department of Justice. Ms. Bononi-Wilson represents a broad range of clients including individuals, privately held business, and multinationals. After obtaining her law degree, Ms. Bononi-Wilson served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Alfred B. Bell for the Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She went on to work for a resolution & accounting firm where she handled various complex controversy matters while running their Audit Department.

Ms. Bononi-Wilson is also a proud military spouse and the mother of two daughters. She strongly believes in giving back to the community and is proud to serve as a Key Spouse, providing support to the fellow families of military members during their times of needs. She was also recognized by Prager Metis for her pro bono work with the Community Service Award. She has been named as a “Super Lawyer – Rising Star” in New Jersey for 2023.
