Prager Metis Announces Formation of Charitable Foundation

July 16, 2019 – New York, NY— Prager Metis CPAs is proud to announce the formation of The Prager Metis Charitable Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization which will serve to coordinate and support the philanthropic fundraising and efforts of the firm.

Former New York City Office Managing Partner, Steven Topal, an integral member of the firm’s leadership team since its inception, will be transitioning to a new role as President of the newly-formed foundation. “Each year the firm sees an increase in the number of requests for donations it receives,” stated Mr. Topal. “The formation of the Charitable Foundation is an important step in ensuring that we are the best stewards we can be for the monies that are ear-marked for charitable causes and making certain the funds are used for the best possible purposes.”

In addition to the firm’s annual fundraising efforts and partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, Prager Metis contributes annually to numerous charitable organizations and groups concerned with health and social service matters, education, economic development, and arts and cultural programs. “Charitable giving is part of our culture at Prager Metis,” said Glenn Friedman, CEO. “In the words taken from our firm credo:  ‘At Prager Metis, we are part of something bigger.’”
