It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alfred Pruskowski, our colleague, partner, and friend.

Al was instrumental in the growth and success of Prager Metis and those who were fortunate to work with him will remember his unwavering commitment to the firm and his clients and his sharp wit.

In his over 40 years career, Al was a nationally noted expert witness, testifying in cases before the American Arbitration Association, the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey, the Superior Court of the State of New York, Nassau County (NY) Superior Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court – Southern District of New York.

Alfred is also a renowned lecturer and has presented at several professional seminars. He is a frequent speaker at seminars presented by the Foundation for Accounting Education. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified Fraud Examiner and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He was licensed as a CPA in both New Jersey and New York.

Al was a devoted mentor for staff, trusted advisor for clients, and respected member of our partner team.

His independent thinking, tenacity and humorous nature will be deeply missed.
