Prager Metis Partner Wendy Valentino Honored with Top 50 Women in Business Award

Prager Metis CPAs, a leading accounting and advisory firm with offices North America, Europe, and Asia, and a member of GGI International with members in 123 countries, is very proud to announce that Partner Wendy Valentino has been honored with the 2017 Long Island Business News’ Top 50 Women Award.

Launched in 2000, Long Island Business News’ Top 50 Women in Business program has recognized the Island’s top women professionals for business acumen, mentoring and community involvement. The program’s honorees are selected by a judging committee and receive a unique crystal memento at the elegant dinner attended by more than 600 of the Island’s top business leaders, and represent the most influential women in business, government and the not-for-profit fields.

Wendy Valentino is a Partner of Prager Metis CPAs, LLC a member of Prager Metis International.  Wendy has over 30 years of experience in the accounting industry.

Wendy works closely with her clients to handle all aspects of their business life including preparation of business and personal tax returns, tax projections, financial statements, and corporate returns. She works with several industries including real estate, manufacturing, and distribution. She has also been involved with business valuations, forensic accounting, fraud Investigation, and matrimonial accounting. Wendy’s experience also includes forensic valuations for matrimonial and shareholder disputes.

Wendy is very active in the community, particularly with the Alzheimer’s Association.  She has been very active in their Longest Day and Walk to End Alzheimer’s events. Prior to joining Prager Metis, Wendy was a partner of Cohen Greve & Company CPA, P.C., who merged in with Prager Metis in 2017.

The Top 50 Women in Business Awards will take place at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
