Expands presence in Charlotte, North Carolina
October 01, 2026 — Effective October 1, 2026, Prager Metis, a leading accounting and advisory firm with offices in North America, Europe and Asia, is pleased to welcome Sherbert CPA, PC. This strategic combination enhances Prager Metis’s expertise in the real estate, affordable housing, and construction industries while further expanding the firm’s presence throughout the Carolinas and the Southeast.
As part of the combination, Bill Sherbert, CPA, has joined Prager Metis as a Principal, along with key members of the Sherbert CPA team. The team will relocate to the Prager Metis Charlotte, North Carolina office, where it will continue servicing clients. For decades, Sherbert CPA has provided advisory, audit, and tax services for individual and corporate clients in several sectors including the housing and urban development (HUD) and tax credit real estate sector.
