Prager Metis CPAs, a leading accounting and advisory firm with offices in the U.S. and London, announces their combination with The Bernknopf Group Ltd., a firm based in Morganville NJ. The combination will be effective January 1, 2017.
The combination will expand Prager Metis’ presence in New Jersey by adding a 2nd New Jersey office, in addition to our Basking Ridge office. Steven Bernknopf, CFP, EA will be joining Prager Metis as a Principal. Phil Whitman and Phyllis Eisenberg of Whitman Business Advisors acted as facilitators in the transaction.

Mr. Bernknopf was the Managing Partner of The Bernknopf Group Ltd. The firm has over 30 years of experience providing tax, accounting, and financial planning services to individuals and closely held businesses. Mr. Bernknopf is also a Certified Financial Planner and will head up Prager Metis’ Financial Planning in New Jersey.
