Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin announced today the extension of the tax filing date from April 15 to July 15. While tax payments due on April 15 had been previously extended to July 15, the tax filing date was not extended until today’s announcement. Businesses and individuals now have until July 15 to file and make payments without interest or penalties.
