Professional Experience
Thomas M. Perry is an Audit and Financial Reporting Senior Manager at Prager Metis LLP, a member of Prager Metis International Group. With over 14 years of experience in the accounting industry, Thomas brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
Thomas specialises in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and Corporate Tax Returns. He leads statutory audits for clients who either require or voluntarily choose to have an audit. His client base spans the entertainment and high-net-worth sectors as well as the not-for-profit and professional services industries.
As the leader of the Environmental Pillar of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) group, Thomas plays a pivotal role in monitoring the firm’s Net Zero journey. He is responsible for calculating the firm’s Greenhouse Gas emissions for a full year of operations, creating a reduction plan to cut emissions, compensating for any unavoidable emissions, and setting a target date for implementation. Additionally, he assists in obtaining the Silver Accredited CSRA, validating the collective efforts of the teams across all offices and demonstrating the firm’s commitment to sustainable business practices.
Thomas believes that understanding and investing in clients’ success is key to maintaining strong relationships. He prides himself on being a strong communicator, capable of adjusting the level of detail in any deliverable to meet the specific needs and requirements of each client.
In his previous role, Thomas supported his clients with a range of needs, including business management, VAT, and system improvements. This comprehensive approach has enabled him to provide a full scope of advisory services. He has also shared his expertise on the panel titled “How Celebrities are Redefining Football” for the group Social4M where he provided financial insights to industry professionals.
When Thomas is not in the office, he enjoys playing cricket and is an avid sports enthusiast. He has completed multiple running, hiking, and cycling challenges, including the London Marathon, Ride 100 cycle, Grand Canyon trek, and a skydive, all while raising funds for charities. A devoted fan of live music, Thomas finds inspiration and energy in attending concerts and discovering new artists. His love for music was one of the key reasons he was drawn to Prager Metis, which aligned with the firm’s deep roots in the entertainment industry and has enriched his professional journey.
