Professional Experience
Nick Thompson a Principal of Prager Metis and Prager Metis International Group. Nick has more than 25 years of public accounting experience and is known to be a proficient collaborative advisor. Known for his client-focused approach, Nick works closely with management teams to understand the specific needs and goals of each organization. His commitment to building strong client relationships has earned him a reputation for delivery tailored audit solutions that align with the strategic objectives of his clients.
Nick is a member of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and is a past presenter for the GWSCPA Nonprofit and Finance Symposium.
Prior to joining Prager Metis, Nick served as Director of Finance, Administration and Personnel at Oak Spring Garden, and Audit Partner for Citrin Cooperman & Company. In his spare time, he worked with the Pathways School, a nonprofit organization operating six therapeutic educational programs for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, and served as Board President, Vice President, and Treasurer.
