Professional Experience
Michael Specht is a Partner in the Tax Department of Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International Group. He has been practicing accounting since 1983.
Michael has vast experience in working with closely held companies and individuals. He leads the firm’s entrepreneurial group. Michael works with business clients in a wide range of industries, including professional service firms, medical practices, and real estate entities. He also assists with the setup of accounting systems for newly formed companies and provides accounting, consulting, and tax planning and compliance services for these companies.
Michael has contributed to several publications for small business owners. Prior to joining Prager Metis’s predecessor firm Metis Group in 1996, he was a partner in a small New York City accounting firm for 9 years.
