Runa Spataru is a Manager in the Audit & Accounting Department of Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International Group. She has been in the accounting profession since 2011.
Runa specializes in all areas of audit and review, including preparing and reviewing financial statements. She has been involved in bank audits ranging in size from under $100 million to over $20 billion in assets. She has planned, performed and reviewed year-end internal control attest engagements to meet US regulatory requirements (FDIC Improvement Act of 1991 for institutions with over $500 million in assets and Sarbanes Oxley compliance). She also has experience performing audits of the Call Report – FFIEC 002, Report of Assets and Liabilities of U.S. Branches and Agencies of Foreign Banks.
Runa has extensive experience working with all aspects of audits within the banking and financial institution industry. She also has additional experience with audits of employee benefit plans.
