Brian A. Serotta is a Principal Emeritus of Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International Group. He has worked in the accounting industry for over 45 years.
Brian specializes in bankruptcy and insolvency, representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Trustees, Creditors, Debtors, and Debtors-in-Possession. In addition, he has experience in auditing, taxation, business consulting, litigation support and bankruptcy related matters, including forensic examinations of books and records of Debtors.
Brian has presented on a variety of topics related to bankruptcy and insolvency, and most recently was a guest speaker at the Panel Trustee Training in New York in March of 2018 where he discussed problems and situations related to bankruptcy taxations.
Brian has been appointed as a Bankruptcy Examiner by the Office of the United States Trustee in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
