Professional Experience

Arthur Garcia is a Director in the Tax, Advisory Services and International Departments of Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International LLC. He has been working in the industry for over 20 years.

Arthur specializes in providing estate planning and estate administration services to high-net-worth clients including tax projections, estate tax saving techniques, preparation of estate, fiduciary and gift tax returns, and judicial accountings. He prides himself on helping families optimize multi-generational estate, tax and gift planning, ensuring compliance, and providing the requisite advisory services. His clients are individuals, closely held businesses, foundations and fiduciaries.  He has also represented clients in Federal and New York State tax and residency audits.

Arthur is a native of Spain and is part of the firm’s international practice, providing advisory services to foreign nationals regarding international trusts and estate planning, and assisting businesses with multinational and cross-border issues.   He understands the value of teamwork and works with other trusted advisors in providing the client with the most efficient and effective services.

Arthur has been Managing Editor of the Hofstra University Journal of Business & Law, been a consultant to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Jerusalem, been published on estate tax and divorce settlement issues, has presented and participated in panels for the CPA societies of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as well as presentations for high net worth individuals in conjunction with our professionals and trusted advisors.
