Ahmed Mohidin is a partner in the Audit Group at Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International Group. He has been in the accounting industry for over 30 years.
Ahmed serves as engagement and concurring partner on complex audit and accounting issues, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, Form 10-K and 10-Q filings, and compliance with SEC regulations.
Ahmed has served clients in a variety of industries and sectors, including providing assurance services to private and publicly held companies in the technology, communications, software, manufacturing, real estate, defense, construction, financial services, oil and gas, mining, and agricultural industries.
Ahmed has extensive experience in integrated audits of public companies in accordance with auditing standard No. 5, section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and SEC rules. He was registered as a peer reviewer with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Previously, Ahmed worked at a number of firms in the US, UK and the Middle East. He also founded an SEC and audit practice at a boutique full service firm, where he was audit practice leader and responsible for the firm’s compliance with its system of quality control for the assurance practice. In his free time, Ahmed enjoys playing squash and golf.
